Macclesfield driving test centre (DTC) is planned to be closed from Monday 27 March up to and including Sunday 2 April. All tests scheduled for within this time will be moved to a temporary DTC.
The DTC is closed for a safety inspection.
Testing is planned to recommence at Macclesfield DTC on Monday 3 April 2023.
All car driving tests, motorcycle tests and instructor tests will take place at the temporary driving test centre, Macclesfield Rugby Club. The address is:
There are car spaces available for candidates at Macclesfield Rugby Club. We ask that you park as close as possible to the reception of the club as there is no waiting room inside for candidates. Examiners will meet candidates at their cars when their test is due to begin.
The car park must not be used for candidates to practise parking exercises.
Candidates and instructors will be able to use the toilet facilities at the club.
We have contacted candidates affected by this temporary move. However, if you have booked a test on behalf of your pupil, please let them know about these changes.
