Eating disorder workshops for parents and carers
These courses have helped so many families to navigate their way through a seemingly impossible task and offer professional techniques for becoming a ‘change coach’.
The aim of the New Maudsley Approach is to lower anxiety and distress in family members and to give carers communication tools, skills and techniques that help them engage their loved one to improve their self-esteem and develop the resilience to embark on change.

SEND Digital Support Group
We’re excited to let you know that our next session will be on 27th January 2026. These sessions are run by two Family Hub Navigators, an ambassador volunteer, and a DIAS officer – all here to make sure families feel supported and connected.
The SEND village - Interactive Map of SEND Support Groups and Organisations
Handy interactive map which shows professionals and families where the local SEND support is available. There is also a map for Alternatives Provisions and PRUs and a map for specialist schools.

Family Events
Drugs and Alcohol Awareness session
Join our Drugs and Alcohol awareness session for parents and carers of young people. This session will be held on Thursday 22nd January at 10am and colleagues from Y-smart and Together Drug and Alcohol will be delivering the session and will be available to answer questions you may have.
Join an Autism and Us session this March
Support for parents and carers with practical strategies for understanding autism. Our live virtual sessions create a space for families to connect and share experiences.
