Update on corporate mobile phone contracts
The Digital and Technology Service has started the process of ending mobile phone contracts that have no recorded usage for the past six months or more.
If you have a DCC mobile phone that you need to keep activated but do not use regularly, such as an emergency mobile phone, you should make a phone call on it once a month. This is then captured as recorded use.
The NCMP measures the height and weight of children in Reception and Year 6, to calculate body mass index (BMI) and help evaluate the health of children's weight across primary schools. The purpose of the NCMP Devon dashboard is to provide quantitative analysis on pupils living and attending school in our Devon local authority area who were measured as part of the NCMP.
Military families to benefit from £3,000 of childcare support
The MOD announced in July that after a series of successful pilots, wraparound childcare will be available to all Service personnel in the UK from autumn 2022. The scheme is for families with children aged between four to 11 years old, either attending school or being home educated.

Ukraine's Independence Day marked in Devon
Wednesday 24 August marked 31 years since Ukraine gained independence.
Devon’s local authorities are supporting local residents who want to provide sanctuary to the Ukrainian refugees who have been forced to flee their homes.
