DfE invites schools to complete energy price survey
Schools are asked to submit information regarding their school’s gas and electricity tariffs for a survey. With concerns that rapidly rising energy bills could lead to job cuts, the DfE is considering what “additional support” it can provide. The survey asks for basic data on schools’ current tariffs, whether they’re looking to switch to a new tariff, and your current supplier. The survey closes on 2 June.

 ESFA publishes the 2022/2023 schools supplementary grant (SSG) school-level allocations and conditions of grant
You can view the allocations for the SSG here. The first payment of SSG will be made to LAs this month, and in June 2022 for academies. A second payment will be made to LAs in October 2022, and November 2022 for academies.
