Dear Members

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, and the need to hold virtual meetings, we need to look ahead to the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 8 July 2020.  It is necessary to update the DAPH Constitution and any changes outside of the AGM require agreement from the wider membership.

You are invited to attend a DAPH Extraordinary General Meeting on Wednesday 10 June 2020 at 1.30pm to be held via MS Teams to consider and vote on the following proposal:

To amend the DAPH Constitution to add new clauses to enable communication, meeting participation and decision making by electronic means effective from 1 April 2020.

The amended Constitution and new clauses are highlighted and can be viewed online:

This is a small but necessary change to bring the Constitution up to date and to enable decision making to continue whilst it is not possible to meet in person.

Dear Members

You are invited to attend the DAPH Annual General Meeting which will take place via MS Teams on Wednesday 8 July 2020. The AGM formalities will form part of an overall review of work undertaken by DAPH during 2019/20 and will include the legacy of DAPH & DASH Phase Associations and the transition to Devon Schools Leadership Services CIO.

Following the AGM, an EGM will consider the following proposal from the DAPH Executive Committee:

• to dissolve DAPH as an unincorporated association and to transfer the functions of the phase association and respective membership benefits to the charitable organisation Devon Schools Leadership Services (Devon SLS) CIO.

Elections to join the Schools Executive Committee (SEC) will also take place at the EGM. Terms of reference and invitations to join the SEC from both primary and secondary phases will follow in due course.
