#Lost in Transition: Supporting Transgender and Gender Diverse Pupils
Dawn Stabb, Head of Education & Learning is funding a free conference for Devon schools, delivered in partnership with The Intercom Trust, aimed at helping schools to understand the issues facing transgender children and how best you can support them. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Only one place per school will be accepted. The conference will be on 9 January 2018 at Exeter Racecourse and includes a keynote speaker from the National Centre of Expertise, The Portman Clinic.

Review of Provision for Special Educational Needs
and Disabilities (SEND)
In accordance with Devon's SEND Strategy and implementation plan, Devon County Council is undertaking an annual review of education provision for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities for whom DCC has responsibility.
As part of the review, the Council is undertaking a short series of surveys during the Autumn 2017, to obtain feedback from as many of those directly involved as possible. The outcomes from the review will directly impact on education provided in the future | READ MORE
