Tiff Harris: White Paper & IDSR Support
Wednesday 25th March (Sessions A & B)
The ERA team have secured additional training offers from Tiff Harris, the Primary and Data Specialist for ASCL. Available to all WELL schools.
Tiff will be delivering two sessions to support colleagues on the identified areas of the recent White Paper publication and Curriculum & Assessment Review, as well as support with the new IDSR framework. Please find further details for each session below:
A) Wednesday 25th March 9:30am-11:30am (Online): Update on the White Paper and the Curriculum & Assessment Review.
B) Wednesday 25th March 2pm-4pm (Whitehaven Golf Club): Support with the new IDSR.

The Write Outcomes (3-Part Webinar Series): Town End Research School
Stella Jones, Director of Town End Research School is running a three-part webinar series focused on KS2 Writing outcomes. Available to all WELL schools.
We are aware that the first session falls within the first week of our Easter holidays, however there is an option to request a recording, following sign up.

Audience: Year 6 Teachers and Writing Leads Focus: Maximising KS2 outcomes in writing
Session 1: Securing Expected Standard - Monday 30th March 15:45 – 17:00, Online

Implementing WELL: Workshop 5
Tuesday 17th March / Wednesday 18th March
We look forward to welcoming you to Workshop 5 of the Implementing WELL project next week, where we will focus on supporting delivery and driving improvement:

Learning Community Groups
Following the positive feedback from our last face‑to‑face workshop, Implementing WELL Workshop 5 will continue with the same format.
Bringing schools together in learning community groups aligned to their priorities and sharing practical examples from school leaders on how they have approached common challenges, including:
- 'Shrinking the problem' when choosing what to implement
- Framing monitoring positively
- Taking people with you when introducing new approaches
- Implementing evidence‑based approaches in small schools

The session will also include dedicated time for collaborative discussion and sharing of best practice across these four areas.

To support the group activities and discussions, please bring your (regardless of how far along you are with each):
Please do bring along the subject lead linked to your priority focus, if it is feasible to do so.
