The Coventry HAF programme took place over the summer holidays and delivered approximately 100,000 hours of provision and 25,000 meals to 2,000 children and young people (plus family members). The programme comprised 50 holiday clubs across the city led by 36 organisations - and over 50 other organisations/groups were involved. Thank you to schools for your involvement in this programme – whether hosting these and/or promoting them – this made a real difference to children and young people involved. A video was produced for the summer and this will be released shortly.
The Coventry HAF Team (based in Education and Skills) are now taking forward planning for the Christmas holidays and would like to get a view of the potential engagement of Coventry schools. Emerging evidence shows that higher engagement of schools in HAF leads to better the outcomes for children and young people. Please could all schools take a few minutes to complete a short survey (by Friday 8 October) Coventry HAF school survey
