New lease will protect rugby club and support sports in the community
Councillors are to meet to discuss granting Coventry RFC a new 250-year lease on the Butts Park Arena which will allow the club to continue its development plans and help safeguard the long-term future of the club.
The deal would also see a commitment for the club to further expand its community sports programme and expand access to the club’s facilities to benefit other city sports teams.

Coventry City Centre moves towards a more disability-friendly public transport system
A new Transport Charter designed to improve and aid the experience of people with disabilities using public transport in the city has been launched today (23 September)

Coventry, City of Languages set to launch
An exciting new initiative celebrating the importance of speaking different languages is set to be launched.
Coventry, City of Languages will be officially launched on October 8, from 3-5pm.
It is a result of work by two practising Modern Languages teachers to raise the profile of languages in the UK.

CycleFest is this Saturday
CycleFest, a free family-friendly event all about cycling, is taking place this Saturday (25 September) from 10am to 4pm at Millennium Place as part of the Our Future Moves Exhibition

- A high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- A new, continuous cough – this means you've started coughing repeatedly
- Loss or change in sense or smell or taste
