Free COVID Testing to end

lateral flow

As COVID restrictions are easing, from 30 March 2022 you will no longer be able to get a free test for symptomatic COVID and from 31 March 2022 this will apply to people who are asymptomatic.

After these dates, free testing will no longer be available to the general public and it will also not be possible to order tests online or collect them from pharmacies.

We are still awaiting guidance from the Government on testing for care homes and vulnerable settings.

Refuse teams visit Awsworth Primary School to promote recycling

awsworth

Last week one of our Refuse Teams visited Awsworth Primary School to attend an arranged visit with the nursery children and teaching staff, with the aim of promoting recycling to our younger residents.

The children were equipped with hi-vis jackets and were able to watch the bins being emptied, whilst being told about the importance of recycling, they were also able to sit inside the refuse vehicle (a new horn may be needed!).

A big thank you to Awsworth School.
