Board of Directors Meeting

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 6 p.m. at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. The meeting is open and the public is welcome to attend. If you are unable to attend in person, please watch the livestream on the Township website.

Founders Cup Tennis Tournament

The Woodlands Township will host The Founders Cup, a doubles tennis tournament celebrating our community's rich heritage and passion for tennis. The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, 2024, at various Township tennis courts.

The Founders Cup invites participants aged 18 and older to form teams of six players, consisting of three doubles pairings, to compete in a series of round-robin matches. Matches will be held across 70+ courts throughout The Woodlands, concluding in the semi-finals and finals at the Bear Branch Park Tennis Complex, 5200 Research Forest Drive, 77381.

Residents in The Woodlands will have the opportunity to celebrate America’s Independence with a variety of festivities and fireworks for the Fourth of July holiday. Celebrate the Fourth of July with a spectacular lineup of events providing entertainment for the whole family.

Did you know that The Woodlands Township has standards covering all aspects of fence construction? A permit is required for projects involving more than 8 feet of fencing.

Before building a new fence or replacing an old one, please review Section 2.6 of the Residential Development Standards.

Township Covenant Administration staff processes applications for fences. Owners are encouraged to contact any adjoining neighboring properties to discuss fence repairs, replacements and any existing fencing.

Be a good neighbor and work with Covenant Administration when building or repairing a fence to ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved.
