2025 A-F Accountability Ratings Now Available
As of August 13, 2025, Accountability Reports and Data Tables, 2025 Accountability Data Downloads, and STAAR, Growth, AEA Retest Growth, and EL Student Listings are available in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application. The CCMR Student Listings were posted in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application on August 1st. The results reflect the methodology in the final rule adopting the Accountability Rating System Manual for 2025 ratings.
On August 15, 2025, both 2024 and 2025 Accountability Reports, Accountability Downloads, and Statewide Summary slides were posted on their respective 2024 Accountability Rating System and 2025 Accountability Rating System webpages. These tools provide school systems additional information to support internal evaluation of campus and district academic performance. TXSchools.gov also publicly reports the 2025 scale scores and ratings. 2024 can be found on the “Change Over Time” table on the Accountability Overview tab.
2025 TXschools.gov Communcations Toolkit Now Available
The TXschools.gov Communications Toolkit for 2025 ratings is now available. The TXschools.gov Toolkit was created to help districts and campuses provide families the information they need to better understand their child’s school rating.
The Toolkit consists of working documents, including FAQs, social media templates, one-pagers, and email content, that districts and campuses can customize. We hope these tools are beneficial as you build your communication plans and messaging.
2025 PowerPoint Templates for Superintendents and Principals Now Available
New resources, a template for communicating accountability ratings with School Boards and another for communicating accountability ratings with campus communities are available on the 2025 Accountability Rating System Webpage. These resources are fully customizable and include step by step directions for retrieving your data, sample scripts, and an overview of the A-F Accountability Framework.
District and Campus All Domain PDF Reports in TEAL
There has been a slight change for districts who use the “District and Campus- All Domain PDF” report in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application for the 2024 and 2025 releases on August 13, 2025. When district officials download this report, it will only include the “Rating Overall Summary” for each campus in the district.
Users are encouraged to the “Accountability Listing,” available in public reports, which allows district users to see side by side performance for all campuses by domain. Additionally, this report features hyperlinks for each campus for further analysis.
Consolidated Accountability File Now Available
The Consolidated Accountability File (CAF) was posted on August 8, 2025 to the Secure File Center. The CAF combines all State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®), STAAR Spanish, STAAR Alternate 2, Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS), and TELPAS Alternate data within the current accountability year into one record for a student. The record also includes data for the student for any state assessments within the previous accountability year. Records for which a student cannot be assigned a Texas Student Data System (TSDS) ID are not combined with data from another reporting administration. Conflicting data for a grade 3–8 subject, end-of-course (EOC), TELPAS, or TELPAS Alternate assessment within a reporting administration are not combined with other testing data for a student.
2028 A-F Refresh Public Feedback
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is gathering public suggestions for improvement to the A-F Accountability System for consideration of inclusion in the 2028 A-F Accountability System refresh. Suggestions can be submitted with the following link, 2028 A-F Refresh Public Feedback, posted to the Accountability System Development webpage.

SPRING 2025 PRINTED REPORTS
Printed copies of student labels and student report cards for the spring 2025 State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®), STAAR Alternate 2, and Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) administrations are being shipped to districts that ordered them. These reports are scheduled to arrive in districts between August 11 and August 15, 2025.
SECURE BROWSER UPDATES FOR 2025–26
As a reminder, the updated Secure Browser 18.0 for supported versions of macOS, Windows, and Linux is now available to download from the Secure Browsers page of the Texas Assessment website. A new secure browser for ChromeOS is available and supports ChromeOS version 132 and above. The minimum system requirements for the 2025–26 school year are available in the Technology Resources section of the District and Campus Coordinator Resources.
As a reminder, the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) will undergo a user interface update for the 2025–26 school year. This enhancement is designed to improve navigation and the overall user experience while maintaining current system functionality. Additional training materials will be available to district personnel later this month.
As a reminder, Texas Assessment Program systems will be offline from 8:00 p.m. (CT) August 15 through 1:00 a.m. (CT) August 25, 2025, to complete a system rollover. This includes TIDE, the Centralized Reporting System (CRS), and the Test Delivery System (TDS), including the practice test interface. District testing personnel should download any data files or Learning Management System (LMS) certifications needed before August 15.
All student data, including rosters, will be cleared from TIDE, and students will need to be added to TIDE for the 2025–26 school year after the rollover. The Secure File Center and LMS will be available for registered users through the Testing Personnel page of the Texas Assessment website. Any Texas Formative Assessment Resource (TFAR) tests administered in the 2024–25 school year that require scoring by hand must be submitted prior to August 15 for scores to be reflected in CRS. Hand-scored items that are not submitted prior to August 15 will no longer be available for scoring after the system rollover.
With the annual system rollover, superintendent and district testing coordinator roles in TIDE will be updated to match those listed in AskTED. All users with an existing account must create a new password when logging in to TIDE for the first time each school year. Users with a new role must have their role updated to ensure that they have appropriate access to the system functionality needed for their assigned role. Refer to the TIDE User Guide for more information about logging in to the system for the first time and creating or editing user accounts.
