Approved College Preparatory Course List to be Implemented with 2028 Refreshed Ratings
In response to public comment received during the A-F Accountability Rating System Manual for 2026 ratings proposed rule public comment period, the agency is deferring the proposed change to give credit to only those courses on the approved college preparatory course for CCMR list until the 2028 accountability year, with the 2026-2027 graduates. This change will be reflected in the proposed manual for 2026 ratings, which will be adopted in June. The public comment period remains open until May 19th.
Grade level requirements are not being postponed and will be implemented as announced in 2024 A-F Accountability Ratings System Manual.
The list of approved college preparatory courses for CCMR for 2028 accountability will be provided in a forthcoming TAA. More information is available in TAA: Postponement of Approved List of College Preparatory Courses to 2028 Accountability published May 8, 2025.

The CCMR Verifier when released will be available in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application. CCMR indicators determined by TSDS PEIMS submissions are not eligible for corrections, will not be shown. The CCMR Verifier will contain data for 2023-24 annual graduates and non-graduating 12th graders.
Explanatory documents and resources from previous years are available on the Performance Reporting Resources under the CCMR tab with 2025 versions to be released soon.
PEIMS Summer Submission Preparation
To prepare for the June 20, 2025, deadline for the PEIMS Summer Submission, LEAs are strongly encouraged to utilize available TSDS PEIMS reports to ensure the accuracy of the data in PEIMS which are the data used for accountability purposes.
To assist LEAs with data verification for the upcoming June 20, 2025, PEIMS Summer Submission deadline, the 2024-25 Academic Accountability Data Sources / PEIMS Summer Submission document available on the Performance Reporting Resources webpage, provides a side-by-side comparison of data sources for selected indicators impacted by updates to TSDS PEIMS for the 2024-25 school year.
To further assist districts with data verification, the TEA TSDS PEIMS team has added a CSV option for numerous reports related to the Summer Submission. The list below shows just a few of the reports now available with the CSV option. Additional information about TSDS PEIMS Summer Reports is available through the TEAL TSDS PEIMS login.

Preliminary 2025-26 Public Education Grant (PEG) List Available
As the issuance of 2024 A-F ratings remains pending and subject to change based on judicial rulings, campuses that received an overall scaled score below 60 in 2023 were used to determine the Preliminary 2025-2026 PEG List, available on the Public Education Grant webpage. The preliminary list will be replaced with the final list when ratings are finalized in August 2025 to allow for any changes to the preliminary list resulting from the appeals process. Following the release of the final PEG list in August 2025, LEAs will have until September 1, 2025 to notify the parents of students assigned to a campus included on the Final 2025-26 PEG List.
Additional guidance can be found in the Public Education Grant (PEG) FAQ webpage.
