Texas Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program Updates
ARP Homeless II Federal Grant
Texas school districts, open enrollment charter schools, and education service centers are eligible to apply and receive funds from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Homeless II Federal Grant. The purpose of the ARP Homeless II funding is to increase local education agencies' (LEAs) and education service centers' (ESCs) capacity to identify, enroll, and provide wraparound services to address the unique needs of homeless children and youth due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. See the Program Guidelines for more information.
The allocation amounts for each LEA have been posted: 2021-2024 ARP Homeless II Allocation Amounts by LEA. Note: LEAs with an allocation below $5,000 must join a Shared Service Arrangement.
