CAPPS Reminder: Complete Confidentiality Form

As a reminder, all agency employees, including correctional officers, are required to complete the Confidential Treatment of Information Acknowledgment (CTIA) form before accessing CAPPS this summer.

Please complete the CTIA form no later than tomorrow, February 20, 2026, if you have not already done so. The CTIA Guide is available if you need assistance.

The CTIA form confirms that you understand your responsibility to protect sensitive and personal information stored in CAPPS. This is an essential step to ensure compliance and to ensure you are able to access the CAPPS system to complete tasks related to your pay, W-2s and more.

If you are more comfortable accessing the CTIA form using the TDCJ website, follow the below steps:

To complete the CTIA:

Type the following link into a web browser: https://www.TDCJ.texas.gov
At the top right of the website, select "Intranet"
In the side menu, select "Information Technology Projects"
Click "Centralized Accounting & Payroll Personnel System - CAPPS"
Select "Training" in the right-hand menu
Under the Employee Self-Service section, click "CTIA Form"
