OSHA, along with groups like the National Grain and Feed Association, is hosting the Stand Up for Grain Safety Week to raise awareness of grain handling dangers.
They offer a variety of resources, including printable safety posters in English and Spanish.
The following safety tips can help prevent granary injuries and deaths. DWC Workplace Safety also offers links to free online safety videos for grain handling safety, as well as the following free downloadable safety publications:

DWC offers in-person training in both English and Spanish. Those who complete the course receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction course completion card within eight weeks.
- You must be a Texas resident or an employee currently working in Texas to register.
- The student must understand and communicate in the language of the course.
- All classes start at 8 a.m.

- Participants receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card within eight weeks after course completion.

Registration costs $30 and is required due to limited space.
