2025-26 PEIMS Fall Submission Accountability Data Sources
The resource guide for CCMR indicators and data sources is now available on the Performance Reporting site.
Preliminary 2028 A-F Accountability Rating System Framework Now Available
The Preliminary 2028 A–F Accountability System Framework has been released on the Accountability System Development webpage, ahead of the 2027 –2028 accountability ratings year.

IMRA Cycle 2026 CTE Feedback
|
The Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) quality rubric for CTE will be used to evaluate instructional materials beginning in the summer of 2026.
IMRA quality rubrics support Texas districts in identifying high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) in CTE to ensure all students have access to rigorous content and instruction.

2024-2025 and 2025-2026 Summary of Finances
The Summary of Finance (SOF) are near-final (NF) for 2024-25 reports and now incorporate the CCMR Outcomes Bonus (OB) based on Final 2024 Annual Graduates CCMR OB Counts by District. The 2024-25 College Preparation Assessment Reimbursements and Certification Exam Reimbursements will be updated in April 2026 during final settle-up once all student assessment and certification exam data is processed.
The 2025-26 preliminary SOF reports now incorporate estimates for College Preparation Assessment Reimbursements and Certification Exam Reimbursements. With HB 2 implementation, the reports also include an increase to P-TECH allotment from $50 to $150, CCMR OB increases to $4,000 for students who receive special education services.
LASO Cycle 4 Application is Now Open
The LASO 4 Initiatives include Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles (APCSP), PREP Grow Your Own (GYO) Program, Early College High School, and Pathways in Technology Early College High School. Learn more about each through the LASO 4 One-Pagers.
The application window is open through December 3, 2025.
College Preparatory Course – Application Cycle 1.1 Now Open
The College Preparatory Course for CCMR Accountability application cycle is now open. Interested providers must complete the Provider Interest Form by October 17, 2025, to receive a personalized application link from TEA. Once the personalized link is received, providers may apply for English, Mathematics, or both courses, with final applications due by November 7, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. CST.
Assessment 2025 - 2026 Calendar
The Calendar of Events for the 2025–2026 school year, which includes test administration tasks and reporting events, is now available in the Calendar of Events section of the District and Campus Coordinator Resources.

Student Opportunities
Texas Free College Application Week
Texas Free College Application Week is happening October 13–19, 2025. During this week, Texas public colleges and universities will waive all application fees for Texas residents, including first-year applicants and transfer students applying through the ApplyTexas applicant portal. Encourage students to complete their application by October 19!

ForgeNow Open House
Learn more about opportunities to train in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facilities management in six short weeks.
Save the date: Saturday, October 18 from 10 AM to noon at their Lewisville location (2701 Highpoint Oaks Dr Suite 210, Lewisville, TX 75067).

This nationwide contest invites students in sixth to 12th grades attending a U.S. public, private, or charter school — including those in U.S. territories — to team up with their schoolmates to design an experiment under the guidance of an educator. Teams submit ideas for experiments to fly on a NASA-sponsored commercial flight test aboard a suborbital flight vehicle. Competition winners receive $1,500 to build their payloads, and no experience is necessary to join the NASA TechRise Challenge. Proposals due November 3, 2025.

Elevating CTE: Strategies for Stronger Instruction
This free CTE Teacher PD session empowers educators to refine instructional strategies that drive student engagement, skill mastery, and real-world application. Participants will explore high-impact teaching practices to complement industry knowledge and experience. Through interactive learning and collaborative planning, teachers will leave with practical tools and a stronger network to enhance both instruction and content delivery.

Fall 2025 Teacher Externships
Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas is funding the Fall 2025 Teacher Externships.
The Teacher Externships equip teachers with real-world insights, enhance classroom instruction, and strengthen partnerships between schools and local businesses.
Teachers will engage with a local area business for five days/20 hours, create a lesson plan, and earn $1,000. Eligibility requirements must be met. To learn more, view the flyer using the button link below.

Executive Leadership Compass
ESC Region 11 is excited to introduce a new leadership series specifically designed for school system district executive leaders—Executive Leadership Compass. These sessions are crafted to support strategic growth and organizational effectiveness through purposeful leadership development. Each session will focus on high-impact topics such as aligning vision with culture, leveraging data for innovation, and sustaining leadership momentum.

CTE & CCMR Leader Meeting - Virtual Recap
CTE Administrator Trainings
This professional development series is designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of CTE administrators through both fundamental and deep dive sessions. The trainings will focus on key areas of program success, including data-driven decision making, building effective partnerships, program design and expansion, supporting CTE teachers, leveraging resources, and evaluating program impact.
Held throughout the year in Irving ISD and Lewisville ISD, these sessions will provide administrators with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to lead comprehensive, high-quality K–12 CTE programs.
CTE Counselor Trainings
This series is designed to equip counselors with the tools and strategies needed to strengthen College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) advising. Participants will engage in fundamental trainings that establish a strong foundation for CCMR and effective CTE advising, or deep dive sessions that provide practical strategies for comprehensive, ongoing career advising across middle and high school.
Sessions will be held at the Randolph Reed Center in Grand Prairie ISD on October 28–29, 2025.
Fall into Success with the Right Resources
This McKinney-Vento Resource Fair aims to provide comprehensive resources, brochures, or other relevant information about your organization and what it can offer to students and families in transition. Your participation would allow you to connect with school counselors, social workers, and staff members from across the region who serve Cooke, Denton, Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise counties.

Connecting Education with Industry Event: Aerospace, Construction, Hospitality
Join Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County at an engaging Connecting Education with Industry event, bringing together educators and local leaders in Aerospace, Construction, and Hospitality. This event is designed to strengthen partnerships, highlight career pathways, and create opportunities that connect students to high-demand industries. Lunch is provided.
Date and Time: October 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: Arlington ISD Center for Visual & Performing Arts (900 East Sanford Street, Arlington, TX 76011)
What to Expect:
- Industry Spotlights: Learn about career pathways, credentials, and opportunities in aerospace, construction, and hospitality.
- Panel Discussion: Hear directly from employers about workforce needs and how schools can help prepare students.
- Networking: Connect with employers, training providers, and community partners.

The ExCITE II program is now recruiting high school technology & engineering educators for Cohort 3 (26-27 school year), a national initiative that’s transforming how students experience computer science and engineering design.
Through ExCITE II, teachers receive comprehensive training to teach AP Computer Science Principles (CSP) byDesign, a course that blends computational thinking with hands-on, project-based learning. This isn’t just professional development, it’s a chance to elevate teaching, expand students’ opportunities, and join a vibrant community of educators committed to innovation in STEM education.
Participants receive a full class set of robotics and computer control kits (valued at $2,800) that will remain with the school district after the program. Participants also earn a $2,000 stipend, with half paid at the start of the school year and the remainder upon completion of project research notes. All travel, lodging, and meal expenses for in-person events are fully reimbursed. In addition, participants become a certified College Board AP CSP teacher, receive a free one-year ITEEA membership, and qualify for 90 hours of continuing education credit.
Aerial Robotics in STEM Education (ARISE) Kickoff
The Aerial Robotics in STEM Education (ARISE) organization is again offering a high school drone competition based on a Do it Yourself (DIY) drone build, with stock parts. The competition has three components 1) a Tele-operated First Person View (FPV) Competition (Line of sight competition), 2) an autonomous drone competition, and 3) an engineering design and presentation competition. The competition will be held in late April 2026.
Registration for the competition costs $500 and the typical cost for the drones is about $1,000. ARISE recommends that each team have at least 2 drones, in case of crashes.
