COVID and Texas

Everyone age 16 and older is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas. According to the CDC, fully vaccinated people may stop wearing masks or maintaining social distance in most indoor and outdoor settings.

The Texas Department of State Health Services welcomes all Texans to use the Texas Public Health Vaccine Scheduler. Read more on this this and all state health updates at DSHS News Releases.

Even after you get a dose of the vaccine, continue to wear face masks, practice social distancing and regular handwashing to slow the spread until you are fully vaccinated.
