Monthly OWLS Club meetings are held at 1 PM on the first Thursday of each month at
McGirt Auditorium -

Summer Programming Changes

The following programs will be moved from Boyd Hill Recreation Center to Northside Recreation Center starting on Monday, June 1 for the summer.

Mondays: Table Tennis (9 AM - 11 AM), Dominoes (1 PM - 4 PM)
Wednesdays: Table Tennis (9 AM - 11 AM), Zumba (2 PM - 3 PM)


Concerts in the Garden

Bring a chair or blanket, gather your friends, and join us in the garden for a perfect evening!  Concerts will be offered on the first Thursday each month through October (except for July).

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill (LL@RH) is an inclusive community of adults, age 55+, who share knowledge through unique learning opportunities and local excursions. 

Each semester, outstanding volunteer instructors offer a wide variety of classes and fascinating experiences for interested adult learners. The only prerequisite is a curiosity to learn!  Planning for the Fall semester is underway now!  More at cityofrockhill.com/lifelonglearning.

North Carolina Mountains - July 8-9, 2026

Registration Deadline:  Friday, May 15

On July 8-9, escape to the cool beauty of the North Carolina mountains on a 56-passenger motorcoach and spend the morning exploring the lush gardens and scenic trails of the North Carolina Arboretum, followed by an adventure with breathtaking vistas along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

On Wednesday evening have a wonderful dinner and a relaxing stay at Highland Lake Inn & Resort in Flat Rock, NC. Thursday, wake up to serene lake views and a scrumptious breakfast.  Step back in time at the Cradle of Forestry in America, where the roots of modern forestry come alive through engaging exhibits and historic sites. Lunch and shopping will follow in the lovely little town of Brevard.

Cost: $320 for per person for double room, $420 for a single room. Price includes motor coach, room in Highland Lake Lodge, dinner and breakfast.  Register online by May 15.


Portugal and Douro River Cruise - April 21 - May 1, 2027

Trip Meeting: May 7, 2026 

Rachel Bantly from Mayflower Tours will be available following the Thursday, May 7 OWLS meeting to share details about the Portugal trip in April 2027.  Schedule: 1 PM OWLS Meeting; 2 PM Trip Meeting at McGirt Auditorium - 825 Crawford Rd.  NOTE:  The $200 discount per person has been extended to May 31, 2026.
