Join us for the OWLS Club Spring Fling picnic at the Manchester Meadows Lake Pavilion Shelter. Please bring your own lunch and enjoy some time outdoors listening to music, playing backyard games and card games, taking a leisurely stroll around the lake, conversing with friends and soaking in the scenery of the blooming flowers.  Register Here


Volunteer Opportunity

Special Olympics Spring Games

Volunteers will park at Winthrop Coliseum (1162 Eden Terrace). Please arrive no later than 9:30 AM. Volunteers will hop on a shuttle bus to the volunteer check in tent at Cherry Park. You will be assigned a duty and volunteer location. Opening Ceremony will start at 10 AM and the final event will be over around 12:30 PM.

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill (LL@RH) is an inclusive community of adults, age 55+, who share knowledge through unique learning opportunities and local excursions. 

Each semester, outstanding volunteer instructors offer a wide variety of classes and fascinating experiences for interested adult learners. The only prerequisite is a curiosity to learn!  Some Spring semester classes may still have open seats!

North Carolina Mountains - July 8-9, 2026

On July 8-9, escape to the cool beauty of the North Carolina mountains on a 56-passenger motorcoach and spend the morning exploring the lush gardens and scenic trails of the North Carolina Arboretum, followed by an adventure with breathtaking vistas along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

On Wednesday evening have a wonderful dinner and a relaxing stay at Highland Lake Inn & Resort in Flat Rock, NC. Thursday, wake up to serene lake views and a scrumptious breakfast.  Step back in time at the Cradle of Forestry in America, where the roots of modern forestry come alive through engaging exhibits and historic sites. Lunch and shopping will follow in the lovely little town of Brevard.

Cost: $320 for per person for double room, $420 for a single room. Price includes motor coach, room in Highland Lake Lodge, dinner and breakfast.  Register online HERE
