5th Anniversary

Thank you to those who were able to celebrate with us on February 4, 2025! The video below was shared at the anniversary event. Many thanks to Max Watson, Creative Projects Manager with the City of Rock Hill, for producing it.

CURIOSITY NEVER RETIRES!

Registration

Registration opens Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025
@ 1 PM (online & in-person)

If you do not already have an account for registering, you are encouraged to save time and do so prior to the start of registration.

How to Create an Account

Online Registration Reminders:

1) Be sure to practice logging into your account prior to the opening of registration on Feb. 11 at 1 PM. If you need assistance logging in, please contact LL@RH staff prior to Feb. 11 (803-329-5527).

2) Familiarize yourself with the online registration system. Recognize that the images are different for a computer user versus a mobile device user. Practice on the same device you will use on registration day.

3) Did you know you can filter your search? It is useful to utilize this feature if you do not want to search for each program when adding to your cart. In the Filter box on the top left side of the screen (desktop version) or top of the screen (portable device), simply enter the three-digit number and search.

4) The cart hold time is only 15 minutes! Your cart will time out and cause you great frustration if you exceed the 15-minute window. Your best strategy is to be prepared! Know the classes/tours for which you want to register (use this handy form as a quick reference guide), know your emergency contacts (required for all tours and physically active classes) and have your payment information ready.

5) Always add yourself to a waitlist if a class is full! Often, individuals learn they must cancel a registration as the class start date approaches. Always remember that waitlists communicate the popularity of a class so please add your name if you want to be considered for getting into the class. Openings for classes are offered to individuals in the order in which they are entered on the waitlist.

How to Register Online

In-Person Registration Reminders:

1) For those needing assistance with registration, you are encouraged to arrive at Northside Recreation Center by 1 PM. Upon your arrival, you will receive a number to indicate your place in line.

2) Make your class selections BEFORE you arrive. Out of respect for everyone’s time, you will be asked to move to the back of the line if you aren’t ready to register when it is your turn. Preselect your preferred classes by completing this handy form before your number is called.

3) You can only register for ONE account at a time during in-person registration. Some accounts have all members of a household, which is acceptable. However, if you need to register for a friend on another account, for example, you will need to move to the back of the line after completing the first registration. Guests who show up on time and are waiting in line should not be at a disadvantage due to those who cannot be present.

4) You can still pay with credit card, cash or check (made payable to City of Rock Hill). Those who plan to pay with credit card can only register at certain stations. Those paying with check or cash (recommended!) can be assisted at any of the stations.

5) Chairs will be available for sitting while awaiting your turn to register.

Phone Registration Information (803-329-5527):

Calling to register by phone on February 11 is the least advantageous option as phone lines will not open for registration until 3 PM. Phone lines will be reserved for addressing any online registration issues from 1 PM-3 PM. After that, staff will be available to assist. If you cannot get through due to calls received ahead of you, please be sure to leave a voicemail and calls will be returned in the order in which they are received. For those who have staff cell phone numbers, these phones will NOT be used for registration. Only the office phone: 803-329-5527.
