🚨 Democrats Are Attempting to Rush

Through a $11.7 Billion Tax Hike 🚨

Yesterday, Democrats quietly dropped a new amendment to House Bill 2025 after realizing they didn’t have the votes to pass their original $15 billion transportation tax package.

But don’t be fooled—the “scaled-back” version still slams Oregonians with $11.7 billion in new taxes over the next 10 years.

Here’s what’s included:

• Nearly 20 new or increased taxes and fees.
• A 12-cent gas tax hike, making Oregon one of the most expensive states in the country to fill up your tank.
• A 350% increase in the vehicle privilege tax (a tax on buying a car).
• A tripling of the payroll tax, which directly hits your paycheck.
• No meaningful accountability or reform at ODOT for how your tax dollars are spent.

We hear from Oregonians every day who are already struggling with the high cost of living. This is not the time to raise taxes without accountability.
