Class of 2025 Delivers Record Graduation Results

According to data released today by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE), the Class of 2025 achieved Oregon’s highest high school graduation rate ever, with 83.0% of students earning a diploma on time. That represents 1,546 more graduates than last year and surpasses the previous record of 82.6%, set by the Class of 2020. Read more here.

February is Career Technical Education (CTE) Month!

This is our annual opportunity to celebrate the incredible impact CTE has on students across Oregon — connecting learning to real-world skills, career exploration, and meaningful pathways beyond the classroom.

From innovative programs and hands-on learning to powerful student achievements, CTE is happening in inspiring ways in schools and communities across the state. At ODE, we’re excited to highlight this work through our #ThisIsCTE campaign, which showcases the stories, people, and moments that make CTE so impactful.

We invite educators, administrators, partners, and students to join us in the celebration by sharing what’s happening in your CTE programs. Whether it’s a classroom project, student success story, industry partnership, or special event, we’d love to help amplify it.

Share your #ThisIsCTE moments here.

Thank you for all you do to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences and expand opportunities for learners across Oregon. Let’s celebrate CTE Month together!

25-27 Early Literacy Funds and Grant Agreements

23-25 Early Literacy Grant Agreements are active until 3/31/26. Three quarters of the 25-26 disbursement of Early Literacy funds is included in the current grant agreement referred to as “Year 3”.

The partial 25-26 disbursement is available in EGMS, named "2025-2027 Early Literacy Grant;” and 100% may currently be claimed.

The current subgrant end date says 3/31/2026 to align with the current grant agreement, but this end date will be updated to 6/30/2027 when the new funds are added. The remainder of the 25-27 allocation will be added to the same subgrant in EGMS when new grant agreements are executed. All 25-27 early Literacy funds can be spent throughout the biennium (7/1/2025-6/30/2027).
