2023-24 Budget Data Collections Now Open!

Data Collection Close Date: August 15, 2023

Adopted Budget Document Due: July 15, 2023

Hello Business Managers and School Finance Friends,

Hope you are all doing well and staying safe!

The 2023-24 school year budget data collections are now open for your school district's or ESD's adopted budget data in Consolidated Collections on the ODE District Site and will close on August 15, 2023, aligning with Oregon Local Budget Law. Please note this is a secure site and requires authorized access.

Please review the data collection information found on the Schedule of Due Dates section labeled Financial Collections, plus refer to the file formats and csv data templates:

Along with submitting your electronic budget data to the data collections, ODE requests a copy of your 2023-24 Adopted Budget document, complete with resolutions, no later than July 15, 2023, aligning with Oregon Local Budget Law.

Please submit pdf file of your adopted budget to ODE.SchoolFinance@ode.oregon.gov

Quick note on Special Revenue Funds in the Budget Data Collections. Please feel free to roll-up your Special Revenue data records to Fund 200 when submitting budget data. You will see the sub-fund codes (i.e. 201, 250, 251, 252, 299) as options in the fund code drop-down list to comply with our federal ESSA requirements for the actuals data, but you are welcome to use fund 200 when submitting budget data.
