In last week’s SIA email, we shared a large update which included the 2020-2021 revised allocation estimates and the DRAFT plan and budget amendment process (pending State Board of Education approval).
This week, we are also sharing more specifics on the updated charter school allocations:

The SIA team is continually interested in how to incorporate emergent learnings and dynamics from this unprecedented school year into the support we offer ESDs and districts. As we shared last week, the legislature has encouraged applicants to prioritize students’ mental and behavioral health needs and many of you are engaging creative ways to welcome your students back to school. We invite you to share these via this Google form. These insights, learnings, and ideas will not only help us iterate our processes, but allow us to share what we’re learning from you in future SIA weekly messages and SIA application processes.
