June 2026 workshop calendar | Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard
WorkSource Oregon Beaverton and Hillsboro has released its June 2026 workshop calendar for job seekers. Workshops include both virtual and in person options to help people build skills and prepare for work.
Topics include advanced resumes, career exploration, computer skills, resume writing, networking and more. Virtual workshops are open to people living anywhere in Oregon, making it easier to join from home.
Registration is required for all workshops. WorkSource customers can sign up through myworksource.org unless a different registration process is listed in the workshop details.
WorkSource Oregon apprenticeship opportunities | Salem
Attendees can explore different apprenticeship pathways. Partner organizations include the Area Joint Apprenticeship and Training (JATC) Committee and North West College of Construction.

Welding Integrated Education and Training (IET) program | Portland
Portland Community College is offering a Welding Integrated Education and Training (IET) program for English language learners. The program combines welding instruction with English language skill building to prepare students for entry level welding positions. Participants will earn a PCC Wire Welding Career Pathway Certificate and develop the English language skills needed for work and job searching. Tuition assistance and scholarships are available. To receive best consideration, students must attend an information session or meet one on one with Laurie Chadwick by July 31, 2026.

LinkedIn Learning training job for job seekers | Virtual
WorkSource Oregon has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to give job seekers access to thousands of high-quality courses designed to build skills and boost employability.
Drone piloting and mapping classes | Statewide
Drone piloting and mapping classes are being offered free for students and community members through the Colorado State University Drone Center in partnership with Oregon State University and the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission. The program includes eight professional UAV training seminars across Oregon during spring 2026. Training covers drone flight school, UAV mapping and modeling, and prepares participants for careers as remote pilots and GIS technicians. Must be a current Oregon resident. Some limits and restrictions apply.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Summer Camp | Bend and Madras
Students can explore science, technology, engineering and math through hands on activities and experiments. Participants will work with scientists, learn about STEM careers and use Central Oregon Community College science labs. The free camp is open to students from Jefferson County and Culver. Transportation, lunch and a swag bag are included.

Northwest Cyber Camp for Teens | Various locations
Oregon teens interested in technology can explore cybersecurity careers at a free weeklong summer camp. Participants will get hands on experience with cybersecurity tools and learn about career opportunities in the field.

The Eastern Oregon Workforce Board helps youth and young adults connect to internship and work experience opportunities in Eastern Oregon. These programs support participants in gaining experience that leads to high wage, in-demand jobs in local communities. Opportunities are designed to help participants build skills, explore careers and connect with local employers across Eastern Oregon.

ODHS VR Documentation (Module 7) | Virtual
This training focuses on the foundations of documentation, including its importance and the expectations for maintaining accurate, professional records. Participants will explore the different types of documentation commonly used in the field and what may be required in their role. The session also reviews Vocational Rehabilitation contract expectations for documentation and how to meet compliance standards in daily practice.
