Join the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) for its Feb. 14 webinar, from 10 to 11 a.m. Pacific Time
Community partners, coordinated care organizations, providers, insurers, and more are invited to register for the next in a series of monthly opportunities to learn more about:
- How OHA and ODHS are working together to prepare benefit recipients for potential changes in their benefits, including OHP, long-term services and supports and food benefits as the federal COVID-19 PHE phases out.
- How partners can help people receiving OHP or ODHS benefits prepare for the upcoming changes.
Background: During the COVID-19 PHE, the federal government provided regulatory flexibilities and temporary benefits. Some of these flexibilities and temporary programs will be ending. Changes include:
Other flexibilities and temporary programs will expire later, on dates to be announced by the federal government, including:
- Resuming work requirements for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Able-bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD).
- Ending Pandemic EBT and Summer PEBT food benefits. Oregon will continue to issue retroactive Summer PEBT benefits for 2022 in early 2023.
- SNAP temporary exemptions for students in higher education.

- Communication tools partners can use to engage people who receive OHP and/or ODHS benefits
- Time for questions and feedback

Fee-for-service reprocessing of CWM Plus postpartum professional and dental claims
This week, OHA is reprocessing CWM Plus postpartum claims paid from Jan. 1, 2021, through Sept. 30, 2022, to ensure they are paid through Reproductive Health Equity Act funds only. No action is required on your part.
 Join OHA as we review the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) 1115 Demonstration Waiver, Feb. 8 and Feb. 9, 2023
Learn more about OHA’s implementation of the SUD 1115 Waiver. Medicaid Behavioral Health Policy Analysts will provide a general review of the waiver with a focus on Community Integration Services and Community Transition Services.
- The review will include descriptions of each service and billing options.
- OHA will have time for questions and answers at the end of each session.

New Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) education session for behavioral health and Behavior Rehabilitation Service providers
This session will provide an overview of the EPSDT policy change for OHP members, and its implications for behavioral health (BH) and Behavior Rehabilitation Service (BRS) providers.
