Around Amity Elementary
We had a visit from many famous Americans at the Amity Fourth Grade Wax Museum this week. Students did an awesome job of researching and presenting in full character mode!
A group of Amity 2nd Graders had the opportunity to share "Genius Hour" presentations to their classmates this week. All of these projects were researched (or created) by students in regards to a topic they were passionate about, and presented to an audience! Great work!

Kid's Heart Challenge
Our kindergarten through third grade students just finished their Kid's Heart Challenge to support the American Heart Association and their fight against heart disease. Their goal this year was to raise $3,000 and our students were able to raise $3,531! Way to go! Our top 5 fundraisers were 1st grader Sarah Barnes who raided a total of $395. 3rd grader, Mason Robinson who raised $230, kindergartner Ellora Viall who raised $170, 2nd grader Toby Louden who raised $166 and kindergartner Penelope Louden who raised $166! Congratulations and thank you to all of our Amity K-3 students!
