ATTENTION: Fall 2019 Kindergarten Parents

Kindergarten Cut-off Date Moved to August 1st

Last night, the Deer Park Board of Education approved a change to the cut-off date for kindergarten beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. The cut-off date for kindergarten will now be August 1. Students must turn 5 years of age before August 1, 2019 to be eligible to start kindergarten in the 2019-2020 school year.

More information about the kindergarten start date and kindergarten registration will be available at our Kindergarten Information Night, which will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Amity Gymnasium. We will send out more information about Kindergarten Information Night once details have been finalized.
