Advanced Air Mobility Showcase to Feature Ohio's First Public Flights of eVTOL Aircraft
SPRINGFIELD —Join Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted, the Ohio Department of Transportation, FlyOhio, JobsOhio, the United States Air Force, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the City of Springfield and executive leaders from the advanced air mobility industry as Ohio hosts the 2021 Ohio Advanced Air Mobility Showcase at Springfield-Beckley Airport. Building on a legacy of innovation, the day will highlight next-generation aviation vehicles and technology and feature remarks from industry leaders. Witness Ohio aviation history, as the first public flights of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft take place.

Each media session allows time for interviews with industry leaders, to collect b-roll of advanced air mobility aircraft and simulators, and to film the flight of an eVTOL aircraft.
Please note for planning purposes, Lt. Governor Jon Husted will provide remarks during the morning media session from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The morning flight will feature an unmanned, winged Kitty Hawk aircraft. The afternoon flight will be a manned, wingless Lift aircraft. |
