Children Services Update Call Showcased Multiple Programs
DCY held its second Children Services Updates call on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, providing information and updates on the following topics:
- Ohio ASAP (Accelerated Safety Analysis Protocol) and Mindshare
- Parent and Youth Ambassadors
- Children Services Training and Development
- Children and Youth Behavioral and Mental Health Telehealth
The purpose of these calls is to share vital and relevant information on children services policies, programs, and best practices. They are geared toward supervisors and caseworkers of public children services agencies and Title IV-E courts, but directors and administrators are also welcome to attend.
The slides and notes from December’s call will be emailed soon to agency directors and administrators. The next call is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025. A reminder for the February call, along with the attendance link, will go out by February 11. Watch Tuesday Times for updates.
Stronger Together Series Continues January 13
Join team members from the Department of Children and Youth and the Department of Medicaid for the second webinar in the Stronger Together series, titled Medicaid: Children, Youth, and Managed Care. This presentation will review Medicaid and the role of Managed Care Plans – including application process, services, and how to get help.
