Python Power and Python Crash Course 101

ClassroomThe Albany Public Library - Washington Avenue Branch at 161 Washington Avenue, Albany - is offering a free introductory computer science and code training class for children ages 9 – 14 on Wednesday, August 8th and 15th from 6 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Schenectady County Public Library - 99 Clinton Street, Schenectady -  will offer a Python Crash Course 101 for children on Monday, August 27, from 10 a.m. - noon.

NEJAC Public Meetings

The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council will hold a public meeting Wednesday, August 15-16, 2018, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Eastern Time at the Boston Park Plaza, 50 Park Plaza at Arlington Street, Boston, MA 02116. The meeting discussion will focus on several topics including, but not limited to, environmental justice concerns in Boston, MA communities and surrounding areas; the proactive efforts of Region 1 EPA to advance environmental justice; and the discussion and deliberation of the final report from the NEJAC Environmental Justice and Water Infrastructure Finance and Capacity Work Group.

Participants who are interested in attending this event in person should pre-register. If you are unable to attend in person, you may attend the meeting via teleconference. You are required to pre-register for the teleconference.

Pre-registration and public comment period sign-up closes at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
