March 20, 2025
Dear Neighbors,
I'm excited for all that's ahead as spring begins to bloom! What better way to welcome the season than with our annual Spring Fling: Pet Paw-Parade and Classic Car Show—just one month away! If you want to showcase a classic car or become a vendor, there's still time to sign up.
Also, don't miss our Community Connections: HOAs 101 meeting this Wednesday, March 26, 6-8 p.m. It's an excellent opportunity to learn the type of requests the city and state handle versus Homeowners Associations. Registration is required; RSVP to secure your spot!
As always, if there is anything Team Brune can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
At your service,
 Councilwoman Nancy E. Brune, Ph.D.

Advocating For Affordable Housing
As vice chair of the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority Board, I’m excited to share that two new affordable housing complexes—totaling 201 apartments—will be built in Las Vegas! These developments at Duncan at Edwards and 28th Street at Sunrise will help with tackling our city's housing crisis.
These apartments will provide future tenants with stability, safety, and a place to build lasting memories. Huge thanks to The Michaels Organization for their partnership in making this possible!
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day
Four leaf clovers are rare. But good food and company? That’s the norm at our Centennial Hills Active Adult Center (CHAAC). And I'm so happy that I could stop by this festive luncheon for our Ward 6 seniors! Shout out to the CHAAC team for always going above and beyond.
