Institutional Child Protective Services Online Training
North Dakota Health and Human Services has developed an online training on institutional child abuse and neglect and Institutional Child Protective Services (ICPS). In North Dakota, ICPS applies to both public and private schools.
The training explains how to identify child abuse and neglect, outlines your responsibilities, describes the actions you must take, and explains how to report concerns.
Schools are not required to complete ICPS training; however, you and your staff can complete the online course in approximately 15 minutes. The training does not generate a certificate, but staff may print the final screen as confirmation of completion.
For questions specific to the training, contact Kevin Miller or 701-328-8882.
