WHAT'S NEW!
Statewide PMR Issue*
NCDPI has been made aware of a bug in Infinite Campus that is currently impacting PMR. Specifically, after all fatal validation errors are cleared, the system is not allowing schools to generate the PMR.
Infinite Campus development team is actively working to resolve this issue, and we will share additional details as soon as they are available.
Thank you for your patience as we work with Infinite Campus to address this matter quickly.

|
PMR FATAL-26 Students Suspended on the First Day of School*
Students Suspended on the First Day of School
Beginning with PMR 1, students who were suspended on their initial enrollment day should remain enrolled in the SIS. For both rolled-over suspensions and new suspensions that include the first day of school, the student should be marked absent using the 3 code.
This adjustment will no longer trigger a fatal PMR error. It ensures that student discipline information remains active while aligning procedures with compulsory attendance law.
If you have already submitted PMR 1 and removed suspended students, please contact Student Accounting for assistance.
|
NCDPI Student Locator Update*
The NCDPI Student Locator experienced an issue where students were not displaying due to a temporary disruption in the data feed. The problem has been corrected, and the system is now working properly.

|
 |
 |
|
Clarification: Membership for Students with IEPs*
To be counted in membership, students must be enrolled for at least 50% of the instructional day. There is no special FTE for students with IEPs who attend fewer than half of the school’s instructional day.
- Students attending 50% or more of the instructional day are included in membership.
- Students attending less than 50% of the instructional day are reported as visiting students.
This guidance aligns with existing SASA policy and ensures consistent reporting across PSUs.
For questions, please refer to the SASA Manual link below or contact the Office of School Business Services.

|
Schoolnet Integration Reminder*
PSUs do not need to set up a separate API integration for Schoolnet. The platform is automatically integrated with Infinite Campus at the state level.
To access Schoolnet, teachers should use the Schoolnet icon in NCEdCloud. To ensure access, leadership, teachers, and staff must have a Schoolnet role assigned in Infinite Campus (found under Census > District Assignments > Home Location for the user).
No additional steps are required at the PSU level.
If there are issues with students or staff not appearing in Schoolnet correctly, please submit a ServiceNow ticket.

NC Early Learning Inventory: Infinite Campus Data Integration*
This guide outlines how principals, kindergarten teachers, and student accounts are created and maintained in the Early Learning Inventory (ELI) through nightly data integration with Infinite Campus. It includes requirements for principals, teachers, and students to ensure accounts are created successfully.

2025-2026 Credit Recovery Grading Setup*
Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, PSUs shall award a numeric grade for all non-elective graduation requirements, including those courses completed through credit recovery (SBE policy CCRE-001 - see 6.3). The student’s existing Incomplete (INC) or numeric failing course grade on their transcript must be factored into the numeric grade earned through credit recovery to a degree that is proportional to the percentage of the course completed through credit recovery, resulting in a new numeric grade for the course. This new numeric grade will factor into a student's GPA.
This policy change requires a new setup for Credit Recovery Course Masters. Please follow the steps outlined in this knowledgebase article to set up credit recovery course codes in compliance with the new policy.

Please do not:
- Assign CTE Academic Programs (last year’s programs remain and have not been updated for 25–26)

- Run or use the NC CTE Extract Report
Further guidance will be shared once the updates are in place. Until then, no action should be taken on concentrator status in Infinite Campus.

To ensure proper routing, please use the following steps when submitting your request:
When submitting a case to NCDPI for a State Report deletion:
- In ServiceNow, select "Report a Service Incident"
- Choose "NCSIS – Powered by Infinite Campus"
Be sure to include the following information:

- The specific month or period to be deleted (if applicable)
