WRAL•NEWS Emily Walkenhorst | March 10, 2023: New Leandro judge says he'll weigh how much money is still owed in NC education plan - State officials and plaintiffs have already agreed that an estimated $677.8 million still needs to be distributed to schools this by June 30 to comply with the plan, but lawmakers have not agreed to that number and have disagreed with the plan itself. Lawmakers must provide their own estimate by March 15, and Judge James F. Ammons Jr. will hold a hearing March 17 to potentially decide how much money is still owed to schoolchildren.

This band consists of all Spring Semester band students at Scotland High School. The band traditionally has received "superior" ratings at the North Carolina Music Educators Music Performance Adjudication Festival for many years. The "Pride of Scotland County," pays homage to the culture and traditions of Scotland High School by donning the Scottish military uniform with kilt and all.

H.R.734 Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023 - 118th Congress (2023-2024) - Prohibits school athletic programs from allowing individuals whose biological sex at birth was male to participate in programs that are for women or girls. The bill does not prohibit male individuals from training or practicing with programs or activities for women or girls as long as such training or practice does not deprive any female of corresponding opportunities or benefits.
