Welcome Stefani Castro! Stefani is Raleigh Arts new Marketing/Communications Coordinator. Currently deep into executing a multi-channel social media strategy to drive brand awareness to Raleigh Arts, she is crafting creative ways to engage the arts community through newsletters, social media and other colorful digital content. Stefani will probably tell you she loves her dog Truffles as much as she uses exclamation points and gifs in her emails/texts *inserts gif of someone saying yassss* |

Congratulations Barbette Hunter! Barbette is moving into a new role with Raleigh Arts after five years working with our Arts Partners in the Arts Grant Program. She will be supporting our community arts programs like the Piedmont Laureate, Gifts of Gold and the Medal of Arts, putting to use her talents as an artist, stage manager, educator and creative force! |

Welcome Kirsten Wyatt! Kirsten is Raleigh Arts’ new Strategic Communications Coordinator. She’s currently refreshing the Raleigh Arts website to better serve the community. She also plans to use her experience working with local artists to help create an online tool kit for those interested in creating or contributing to local arts projects. In her free time, Kirsten enjoys taking her dog Gus to the dog park and cooking new vegetarian recipes. |
Poole Road Public Art Project
Create stand alone or integrated artwork along Poole Road between Maybrook Drive and Barwell Road. Up to three finalists will be selected for interviews and paid a $1,000 stipend. The project budget is $90,000. Applications must be submitted by Thursday, October 31, 10am.
Blue Ridge Public Art Project
Create stand alone or integrated artwork along Blue Ridge Road from Duraleigh Road to Crabtree Valley Avenue. Up to three finalists will be selected for interviews and paid a $1,000 stipend. The project budget is $90,000. Applications must be submitted by Monday, November 4th, 10am.

Raleigh Art’s Block2 Video Series is a visual platform for video, digital and new media artists. Viewed after dark, the changing videos aim to expand a viewer’s notion of what visual art is and introduce the community to new artists, ideas, and experimental mediums.
