The Montana Office of Tourism is actively seeking proposals for venues to host the Montana Governor's Conference on Tourism in 2024 and 2025.

Where would you like to see the conference held? Do you know a venue that would be the ultimate destination? If so, click here to access general information and instructions on how to submit your bid.

  • Location bids are due July 14, 2023.
  • On-site visits will be scheduled for the top property.
  • Selection of property will be determined in the beginning of August.

Seeking to increase the hands-on training of its students in hospitality management and culinary arts, Montana State University will enter into an agreement with a developer for a privately owned, full-service hotel on campus that will give students hands-on education and practical experience before moving into Montana’s growing hospitality economy.

Lone Pine State Park Increasing Accessibility with New
All-Terrain Wheelchair


Wheelchair users will soon have enhanced access to Lone Pine State Park in Kalispell thanks to a new all-terrain wheelchair. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) and the Montana State Parks Foundation introduced the new Action Trackchair®, an all-terrain wheelchair designed to empower individuals of all abilities to explore.
