The Richfield Recap - December 15 |
|
Holiday Lights Parade Cancelled. Snow Emergency declared.
We are sad to announce that the 2022 Holiday Lights Parade has been cancelled due to the winter weather event effecting the Twin Cities. Each year, multiple departments come together for nearly a full day to put the parade on, and today's weather will require staff's time elsewhere. Unfortunately, due to a frigid forecast in the upcoming week, the parade will not be rescheduled.
The City of Richfield has also declared a Snow Emergency, effective at noon on Thursday, December 15 and lasting until 3 p.m. on Friday, December 16. A Snow Emergency is declared when 4 inches of snow has fallen or upon designation by the city manager.
