City of Richfield Snow Emergency Declared |

Snow Emergency declared beginning 12 p.m. today through 3 p.m. on Friday, December 16.
The City of Richfield has declared a Snow Emergency, effective at 12 p.m. on Thursday, December 15 and lasting until all 3 p.m. on Friday, December 16. A Snow Emergency is declared when 4 inches of snow has fallen or upon designation by the city manager. Plows will be out over the next 24 hours to clear streets of snow, slush and ice to prevent icy conditions and future complications.
During the Snow Emergency:
- Vehicles must be moved off the streets, as soon as possible
- Ticketing and/or towing of cars remaining on the streets will begin at 8p.m. on December 15.
- If you need a place to park your car, Richfield has snow emergency parking areas designated on the east and southeast sides of town (see map below).
