The board proclaimed June 2023 as PRIDE Month at our meeting on Tuesday. The month of June is recognized internationally as PRIDE Month to commemorate the Stonewall Riots in June 1969, which sparked the Gay Rights liberation movement. It's a time to recognize and celebrate community members who identify as LGBTQIA+ and their achievements.
There are a number of PRIDE-related events in Ramsey County this month, including St. Paul Pride on June 10th, St. Paul Seniors Pride in the Park event on June 15th, Pride Family Fun Day on June 18th, and more. You can find a listing of events here.

Join me for an evening of crafting and casual conversation! Bring something craft-y that you've been working on or use one of the Library's art kits to create something to take home with you. Please sign up via Eventbrite so we know how many people to expect, and if you'd like an art kit. Hope to see you there!
