Prepare for severe weather season

Severe Weather Awareness Week is April 9-13. Prepare for severe weather season by reviewing important safety and awareness tips this week.

Statewide Tornado Drill Day is Thursday, April 12

NOAA alert radios, outdoor warning sirens and other alerting devices will sound at 1:45 and 6:45 p.m. to allow businesses, schools and families chances to practice their severe weather sheltering plans.

Hear a Siren? Get inside. Get information.

Review your property valuation notice

Annual property valuation notices and tax statements were mailed to property owners in mid-March. Please review your valuation notices carefully. The taxable market value will be used to determine property taxes payable in 2019.

The time to question or appeal your market value is now. Please contact the Assessor's Office at 651-266-2131 to discuss your concerns. Many issues can be resolved over the phone.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Saint Paul - Ramsey County Public Health's SOS Sexual Violence Services provides free crisis services - including support groups - to victims of sexual violence, their friends and family.

Join Public Health on April 29 for the 10th annual Out of Darkness Into Light walk to honor survivors of sexual assault.
