In Today's Issue:
Anika Ward, Director, Statewide Executive Recruitment Minnesota Management and Budget
Partners, Friends and Colleagues:
It is with mixed emotions that I write to share with you my upcoming departure
from the State of Minnesota. At the end of this month, I will take over
the position of Community Initiatives Director for the Center for Prevention at
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.
I have truly appreciated your partnership and support in
our work to increase representation of diverse leadership across Minnesota
state administration over the past year and a half. I am very proud of
our accomplishments together so far, and excited about the framework
we have built for even greater progress to come. I hope you will
continue to partner with the Statewide Executive Recruitment Office to ensure
our continued success!
While I am sad to leave this role, I look forward to
continuing to partner with many of you in new ways. The Center for
Prevention invests in community initiatives that tackle the leading causes of
preventable disease-- tobacco use, physical inactivity and unhealthy eating--
to increase health equity, transform communities, and create a healthier state.
I am thrilled to have this new opportunity to work toward improving lives
in Minnesota.
Please watch our careers website for the new posting, which has been retitled "Director, Statewide Recruiting and Retention" in the coming week and help us to
spread the word! In the interim, please contact ExecRecruit@state.mn.us for any
referrals, agency support requests, and appointment scheduling. Should you need
to speak with someone immediately, please call 651-201-8143.
It
has been a pleasure working with you!
Sincerely,
Anika Ward
