The new booth
in the education building is a first time collaboration between all state
agencies, and will feature appearances by Commissioners, State Leaders
ST. PAUL, Minn. — This
year at the Minnesota State Fair, the State of Minnesota has a brand new booth
focused on connecting Minnesotans with opportunities in state government.
Whether a person is looking for a career with the state or an opportunity to
get involved with one of the many boards seeking members, the MN Careers booth
will help point them in the right direction.
Fairgoers
who stop by the booth will connect with recruiters and human resources
representatives from a number of state agencies. Also, for those people who
sign up to receive job and volunteer updates, the first sixty each hour will
receive either MN Careers sunglasses or tote bag. To sign up for job updates,
text MN Careers to 468-311.
Throughout
the fair, the booth will also feature appearances by Commissioners and state
leaders. Fairgoers will be able to meet these policy leaders and learn about
why they chose the State of Minnesota and a life in public service.
