Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program deadline extended for PSH projects

The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) is a federal initiative to support selected communities as they develop and implement a coordinated community approach to preventing and ending youth homelessness. In 2021, Hennepin County was selected, through a competitive application process to participate in the program. Learn more here.

Request for interest - Permanent Supportive Housing

On April 27th, a Request for Interest (RFI) for YHDP funds was released. We have received several applications for Rapid Re-housing (RRH) and services for the FYI vouchers, however we didn't receive any applications Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH).

The original deadline closed on May 15th, however, due to not receiving any applications for providing 15 units of PSH to young adults in our community, we are rereleasing the RFI again to see if there is an organization that is interested in providing this service..
