The following is an update on the current construction projects within the Village of Milford as of August 8, 2025. Information on construction projects may be found at villageofmilford.org/roads.
Projected dates and timelines are all weather permitting. Residents directly adjacent to construction zones will have informational flyers distributed throughout the project duration.
2025 Roads Projects
Concrete work on W. Huron St. will continue into next week, followed by fine grading in preparation for paving the week of August 18th. Additional flyers will be distributed to residents in impacted areas as needed. Peters Road/W. Huron remains closed at General Motors Road.
Family Drive Water Main Connection Project
The remaining watermain construction work in Milford Central Park is scheduled for mid-August. Mechanical work at the Family Drive well site will continue for the next few weeks.
Access to the Milford Trail via sidewalk remains closed to pedestrians along Commerce Rd. west of Highland Ave. and alternate routes are required. The trailhead at Family Drive remains open via the parking lot only.
Milford Memories Closures & Parking
An email alert sent on July 30th outlined road and other closures taking place ahead of the 2025 Milford Memories festival. Additionally, there are some residential streets which are not available for on-street parking due to ongoing construction work. Use of the available shuttle service is highly recommended.
