CEPI applications and MI School Data will be intermittently offline for maintenance on Sunday, Feb. 6 from 6 a.m. to noon EST. Only limited informational inquires will be available during this time.

MSDS News

Spring General Collection Open

The Spring 2022 MSDS General Collection opened today, Feb. 2.

Important dates:

  • Feb. 9: Spring supplemental count date
  • March 3: Data quality checks performed on data submitted before this date
  • March 16: Certification deadline
  • March 23: Corrections must be complete and data recertified by 11:59 p.m.

The Spring 2022 General Collection Checklist can be used as a helpful tool to confirm that you have included necessary information.

Early Childhood Spring Collection Reminders

The Spring 2022 MSDS Early Childhood Collection opened in December and runs through 2/23/2022.

Spring Reporting Period: 11/1/2021 through 2/16/2022

  • Feb. 8 – Mid-Collection Data Quality Analysis. Records must certified or error-free by 11:59 p.m.
  • Feb. 23 – Certification deadline. Records must be certified by 11:59 p.m.

Wait List Reporting: Report children eligible for GSRP but on a wait list as of the Spring 2022 EC reporting period end date (Feb. 16) in the Spring EC Collection. Children who were on the wait list but removed prior to Feb. 16 or added after Feb. 16 should not be reported.

Federal Funded GSRP Reporting: Report federally-funded GSRP children with 'GSRP FEDERAL' in the EC Comment field, for more information refer to the communication from Jan. 27.

2021-22 EMC Student Reporting Information Session

The next Early Middle College student reporting information session will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3. Staff from MDE and CEPI will be available.

The schedule, call-in details, and notes from each session will also be posted on the MDE – EMC web page. If you have questions, contact Stacey Stover at stovers@michigan.gov.

EEM Terms and Conditions

Starting Feb. 7, users will need to agree to terms and conditions each time they log into EEM. Users will agree to abide by certain conditions and policies, such as not sharing user IDs or passwords and not disclosing confidential data to unauthorized individuals.

MI School Data News

Visit MI School Data to view updates to the Michigan Community College Data Inventory Report, School-Level Expenditure Report and the Parent Dashboard.

The Student Enrollment Counts report has been updated in preview and will be publicly available within a week.
