Showing up for child care or school on time each day sets your child on the path to success! Good attendance establishes a stable routine for your child that provides a solid foundation for your child’s education.
Missing even one or two days of this routine every few weeks can lead to learning challenges and poor habits. Make the most of early learning by committing to consistent and punctual attendance!

Choose Healthy Drinks for Your Children
Did you know that the beverages children drink from birth through age 5 can have a major effect on their health? As children grow, their nutritional needs will change. Make sure your child receives the nutrients they need by giving them healthy options to drink. For instance, water or milk can help your child’s development without giving them too much sugar.
Talk to your child’s pediatrician about the best diet, including drinks, for your child. You can also refer to this infographic from Healthy Drinks, Healthy Kids to learn more about which drinks are the healthiest option for a child based on their age.

Add Skin Care to Your Self-Care Routine
Your skin is your body’s largest organ, protecting you from external threats. As the weather turns cooler, you may notice your skin becomes drier and duller. Dry skin can feel distracting and uncomfortable. Ensuring you have a good skin care routine can keep your skin feeling healthy and looking its best this fall. Then you can feel more confident in your everyday life. Try these skin care tips in your routine:
- Use moisturizer on your face each day to combat seasonal dryness.
- Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
- Protect your skin from harsh cold by wearing gloves and scarves.
- Continue using sunscreen. Although the sun is less strong in the cooler months, you should still apply sunscreen daily to protect from harmful, year-round UV rays.
