 SUN Bucks CalFresh Outreach Toolkit
The San Diego Hunger Coalition has launched a toolkit to help ensure that every eligible family in San Diego is aware of SUN Bucks, understands how the program works, and knows where to get support. SUN Bucks provides $120 per eligible school-aged child on an EBT card to help families purchase groceries during the summer months when school meals are unavailable. The toolkit includes information on eligibility, how to use benefits, and resources for families who need assistance accessing the program.

The County of San Diego provides travel vaccine resources to help families stay healthy while traveling this summer. These vaccines can help protect against diseases that may be encountered while traveling, and travelers are encouraged to review immunization requirements and recommendations for their destination before departure.

CDPH 2026 Pride Toolkit
In recognition of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, CDPH offers the 2026 PRIDE Toolkit to support community education and outreach efforts. The toolkit includes ready-to-use materials such as posters and flyers focused on sexual health, HIV and STI prevention, and mpox awareness. These resources are designed to help promote health information and connect communities with available services.

Healthy Habits for Summer Fun
The Public Health Communications Collaborative (PHCC) offers guidance on healthy habits for the summer, supporting families traveling for vacation, attending crowded events, and spending time outdoors. Shareable social graphics and suggested captions are available to help promote key prevention messages. PHCC also provides resources on staying safe in extreme heat and other summer health conditions to help communities stay informed and prepared.

 Youth Career Readiness Training Workshops

Traffic Safety Training
Honoring Our Ancestors, Protecting Our Future is hosting a free traffic safety training for Native American youth on Wednesday, July 15 at 1:00 PM. Participants will learn about impaired and distracted driving, speeding, and other important traffic safety topics. Through interactive activities and discussions, youth will gain practical skills to help reduce traffic-related injuries in Native communities. Participants who complete the training will receive a Certificate of Completion.
