 What I wish My Parents Knew
Families are invited to attend What I Wish My Parents Knew (WIWMPK), a free caregiver/parent-teen forum focused on mental and behavioral health topics impacting today’s families. This community event brings together youth voices, local resources, and subject matter experts to encourage open dialogue, connection, and support. The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, from 11:30 AM–2:30 PM. Refreshments will be provided, and all families are welcome to attend!

 Strengthening Oral Health Through School & Community Partnerships Webinar
The California School-Based Health Alliance is hosting a free webinar on how Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) are advancing oral health through partnerships, prevention, and innovative service delivery models. The session will highlight a collaborative oral health program that integrates schoolwide screenings to expand access to early detection, preventive care, and treatment referrals, while sharing best practices, lessons learned, and key strategies for implementing similar programs. Safe Spaces: Foundations of Trauma-Informed Practice for Educational and Care Settings
Aces Aware Learning Center is hosting a free online training for educators, early care providers, and school staff focused on recognizing and responding to trauma and stress in children. Developed by the Office of the California Surgeon General, the training includes age-specific modules and offers professional credit. Participants will learn strategies to create supportive, healing-centered environments that promote student well-being and resilience.

Youth Summit 2026
The City of San Diego’s Office of Child and Youth Success is hosting its first-ever free Youth Summit this summer on Wednesday, June 3, from 10:00 AM to 3:45 PM, in partnership with community organizations. This opportunity allows San Diego youth to build connections with their community, access resources, and have fun in the park. Youth ages 15–24 are strongly encouraged to attend for youth-led and youth-focused workshops, activities, and opportunities to connect with peers.
